Chef Alexander Sanchez brings experience, highly-developed professional skills and personal drive to Cuban Culinary Traditions. He is fueling the passion to provide top-notch cuisine in Toronto offering authentic Cuban dishes, in which the "sazon criollo" stamps the authenticity.

He first graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Education, then following his passion for Culinary Arts, earned a Professional Cook Certification in Cuba. He was trained in prestigious Cuban hotels like  Copacabana, Triton, Delta-Las Brisas, among others; where Sanchez learned from the maestros what is nowadays known as Cuban cuisine.

Sanchez earlier memories involve his grandmother cooking Sunday dinners for the family using fresh ingredients harvested at their patio. He remembers her slowly simmering delicious sauces and fricases that were made with love and care, inspiring at a young age his interest for cooking.
